Generally, shipping OCONUS comes with a lot of unnecessary cost and risk and should be avoided for Packing List preparations. ARTB Packing List readiness can easily be demonstrated by presenting the Ready Packs invoice/receipt along with the contents list here.
There are two very safe and reliable delivery options:
1. (Ranger School: Fort Benning) Ship & HOLD to the UPS Store on Post Fort Benning. This is a tried and true option that hundreds of soldiers have used with consistent success. Note: Abrams Hall/Holiday Inn Express is located on Ingersoll Street, one block from the UPS Store
- UPS Store, 103 Ingersoll Streeet, Fort Benning, GA 31903
- Very convenient location on Post for inbound soldiers
- Typically 2-day transit time from order to delivery
- UPS store holds indefinitely for a $6.00 flat fee
- On arrival, Show ID and pay $6.00. Takes about 5 minutes
2.(Any school/ Any location) Ship to CONUS address. To avoid the risks of “porch pirates” and lost/confused drivers (especially during ANY holiday or challenging weather), Ready Packs uses your listed shipping address to locate/ship to the nearest FedEx facility
- Recipient’s name must be included in the “Shipping Address”
- Recipient’s cell number must be included for tracking/comm updates
- Nearest FedEx facility will be located & selected as a delivery destination
- Photo of shipping label/tracking number provided by Ready Packs
- Recipient must pick up within 5 business days of delivery
- No holding cost
When planning travel, soldiers should press hard to arrive at least a few days before class-up date to acclimate to the local weather and to allow time to shop, if needed

Shipping to the Continental United States
(CONUS)
Free standard ground shipping to the State of Georgia, otherwise, a flat rate shipping and handling fee of $30 will be charged to all locations in the remaining lower 47 states (i.e. excluding Alaska and Hawaii)
Shipping outside CONUS (OCONUS)
Typical retail shipping costs for a Ranger Pack sent to AK or HI destinations are over $200. Ready Packs is sharing this burden with soldiers by setting a single flat rate of $120.
Shipping to countries other than the United States will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@readypacksllc with inquiries.
Ready Packs LLC will organize a “Drop-Ship-And-Hold” for soldiers inbound from OCONUS (including AK and HI). This involves coordination with a UPS or FedEx retail store that will receive and hold the shipment indefinitely for soldiers’ arrival. This service precludes overseas shipping costs, transit and baggage handling fees, and positions the pack in advance so it is immediately available at the location where training will occur.
Express Shipments
Shipments other than standard ground service are available and shall be quoted upon request. Express shipments can include Priority Overnight, Standard Next Day, 2nd Day, and 3rd Day deliveries. As with any shipment, costs will vary depending on weight, dimensions, and destination.
Deliveries
Whenever possible, Ready Packs LLC will ship to commercial addresses where shipments can be physically received by someone in person. FedEx or UPS retail stores are frequent delivery points and depending on the specific store, there could be a nominal service charge and holding term limit. At Fort Benning, the on-Post UPS Store located in the PX charges a $6.00 holding fee with no holding term limits. The Fort Leonard Wood UPS Store located in the PX charges $5.00 with no holding term limit. FedEx Stores have no service fee but typically have a 5-Day holding term limit before returning the shipment to sender. These service fees, when applicable, shall be paid by the recipient upon pickup or otherwise negotiated by Ready Packs LLC.
